Add your card to Apple Wallet
Keep your QR code one swipe away by adding your Krutna card to Apple Wallet as a pass that stays in sync.
In Sharing & QR codes · Updated July 25, 2026
Your Krutna card can live in Apple Wallet as a pass, so your QR code is one swipe away even when the app is closed. The pass stays in sync with your card: change your design or details and the pass updates on its own.
Add the pass from your card
Open the sharing sheet
Open your card in Krutna and tap Share.
Choose Add to Apple Wallet
Pick Add to Apple Wallet from the sharing sheet.
Review and add the pass
Check the pass preview, then tap Add in the top corner.

On Android, the same steps offer Google Wallet instead. Krutna detects your device and shows the right wallet automatically.
Customize how the pass looks
The pass inherits its colors from your card design: the cover color becomes the pass background and your card's accent is used for the labels. If you change the cover style in the editor, the pass follows on the next refresh.
Updating or removing the pass
Passes refresh automatically when your card changes. If you want to remove one, open Wallet on your iPhone, select the Krutna pass, and choose Remove Pass from the more menu. You can add it again at any time from the sharing sheet.
If a pass stops updating, it usually means the card it points to was deleted or unpublished. Re-add the pass from the current card and the link is restored.
Troubleshooting
- The Add to Apple Wallet button is missing? It only appears on iPhone and iPad. On a desktop browser, open your card on your phone first, then share from there.
- The pass shows old details? Passes refresh in the background and can take a few minutes. Opening the pass in Wallet forces a refresh.
- The QR code opens the wrong card? The pass is tied to the card it was added from. Remove it and add the pass again from the card you want to share.
Renaming your card link breaks passes that were added before the change. If you change it, re-add the pass so the QR code points to the new link.
If your organization uses templates, your admin can turn wallet passes on or off for everyone. Ask them first if the option never shows up.
