How to Set Up and Edit Your Lead Form
Collect contact information from anyone who views your Krutna digital business card — automatically and effortlessly.
What Is the Lead Form?
The Lead Form is a contact exchange feature that appears when someone scans your QR code or taps your NFC product. It prompts visitors to share their details with you, making it easy to capture new leads without any manual effort.
Setting Up Your Lead Form
Step 1: Navigate to Your Card
- Log in to your Krutna account.
- Go to Cards and select the card you want to edit.
- Click Edit.
- Click the Lead Form tab.
Step 2: Enable or Disable the Lead Form
Use the toggle at the top of the Lead Form section to turn the form on or off.
Tip: When the lead form is enabled, visitors who scan your QR code or tap your NFC card will be prompted to exchange contact information with you. Once they do, your contact details will automatically be saved to their device. If they prefer not to fill out the form, they can still click “Download Contact” to save your information directly.
Step 3: Configure Your Form Fields
You can customize which fields appear on your lead form. The following fields are available:
| Field | Default Status |
|---|---|
| Full Name | Enabled (Required) |
| Enabled (Required) | |
| Phone | Enabled (Required) |
| Company | Disabled |
| Job Title | Disabled |
| Message | Disabled |
Toggle any field on or off depending on what information you need to collect. Fields marked as Required must be filled in by the visitor before they can submit the form.
Note: Fields are shared across languages, so any changes you make will apply regardless of what language your visitor is using.
Step 4: Add a Title
Enter a Lead Form Title to personalize the form and give visitors context about why they’re being asked to share their information.
Step 5: Add a Disclaimer Message
Click the Disclaimer Message field to add any legal or privacy-related text you’d like to display at the bottom of your lead form — for example, a note about how you’ll use their contact information.
Step 6: Enable or Disable Auto Follow-Up
Use the toggle to turn the automatic follow-up email or SMS on or off.
Tip: When enabled, Krutna will automatically send a pre-set email to any new contact who shares their email address with you. The email includes your profile image, contact information, and a link to your digital business card. The same applies for phone numbers — a pre-set text message will be sent from a Krutna number with your contact details and card link. We recommend keeping this enabled to stay top of mind with new connections.
Step 7: Enable Contact Info Sharing
Use the toggle to allow visitors to download your contact information directly to their device.
Tip: We recommend keeping this enabled so new contacts can save your details with just one tap.
Step 8: Enable Automatic Contact Info Sharing
Toggle on Automatically Download Contact Info to have your contact information sent to a visitor’s device automatically — even before they fill out the lead form.
Step 9: Save Your Changes
Once you’ve configured everything, click Save Changes to apply your settings.
