How to Tap Your Krutna NFC Product

Share your digital business card instantly with a simple tap — here’s everything you need to know.

How to Tap by Device

iPhone Users

Hold or tap your Krutna NFC product against the top back of the iPhone. This is where the NFC receiver is located on all NFC-compatible iPhone models.

Android Users

Tap the product against the center back of the phone, where the NFC receiver is typically found.

Note: Some Android phones have NFC turned off by default. If the tap doesn’t work, ask the recipient to check that NFC is enabled in their device settings. On certain older Android models, the NFC reader app may need to be opened manually before tapping.

Device Compatibility

Device TypeTap (NFC)Scan (QR Code)

Most modern Android phones✅ Fully supported✅ Supported
Older Android devices⚠️ May require manual setup✅ Supported
Phones without NFC❌ Not supported✅ Supported

Tip: Every Krutna NFC product includes a QR code on the back as a reliable backup sharing method — compatible with any smartphone.

Troubleshooting

If the NFC tap isn’t working, try the following:

  • Check NFC is enabled — Ask the recipient to confirm NFC is turned on in their device settings.
  • Remove thick phone cases — Bulky cases can interfere with NFC signal. Try removing the case and tapping again.
  • Open the NFC reader app — On some older devices, the NFC reader app may need to be opened manually before tapping.
  • Switch to the QR code — If NFC issues persist, the QR code on the back of your card works as a universal fallback on any smartphone.

If the Recipient Doesn’t Have Their Phone

No phone? No problem. You can still share your contact details by:

  • Sending your card link via text message or email
  • Sharing your LinkedIn profile, website, or other links directly from your Krutna profile settings

If you continue to experience issues with your NFC product, our support team is happy to help you get it working.
