How to Add Your Krutna Virtual Background to Zoom
Follow the steps below to set up your Krutna virtual background in Zoom — whether or not you have a Zoom account.
Before You Begin
Make sure you have already created your Krutna virtual background and saved the image file to your device. If you haven’t done this yet, check out our guide on How to Create a Krutna Virtual Background before continuing.
If You Have a Zoom Account
- Log in to your Zoom app.
- Click Settings in the upper right corner.
- Navigate to Video & Effects.
- Scroll to the Virtual Background section and click the “+” button.
- Click Add Image and select your Krutna virtual background file from your device.
Your virtual background is now set and will appear on your next Zoom call.
If You Don’t Have a Zoom Account
You can still add a virtual background as a guest. Here’s how:
- Join or start a Zoom meeting.
- Click the “^” arrow next to the video icon at the bottom of the screen.
- Select Choose Virtual Background.
- Click the “+” button to upload a new background.
- Click Add Image and select your Krutna virtual background file from your device.
Your background will be applied immediately for that session.
Reminder: If your background appears mirrored to you, this is normal — it will display correctly to everyone else on the call. To turn off the mirror effect, go to Settings → Video and disable “Mirror my video” in Zoom.
