Understanding Templates
Everything you need to know about the Templates feature on the Krutna for Teams and Enterprise plans.
What Is a Template?
A template is a pre-built digital business card design that ensures every member of your team presents a consistent, on-brand profile. Instead of each person building their card from scratch, you create one master design that can be applied across your entire team with just a few clicks.
Templates are available exclusively on the Krutna for Teams and Enterprise plans.
Why Use Templates?
Consistent Branding
Every team member’s digital business card will share the same look and feel — same colors, same logo, same layout — so your brand is always represented professionally and uniformly.
Saves Time
No more asking each team member to set up their own card design. Apply a template and they’re ready to go, with only their personal details left to fill in.
Fully Customizable
Templates can be tailored to match your brand identity. You can add:
- Brand colors and logos
- Background images
- Contact information fields
- Bios and social media links
- Any other content available on the Krutna platform
Locking Features
To protect your brand’s consistency, you can lock specific design elements within a template. Locked elements cannot be changed by team members, ensuring that critical branding details — like your logo, colors, or company information — always remain uniform across all cards.
How to Get Started with Templates
- Create a Template — Design your template by adding your brand’s colors, logo, background image, and any content you want all cards to include.
- Lock Key Elements — Lock any design features that should remain consistent and should not be edited by individual users.
- Publish the Template — Apply the template to your team’s digital business cards. This can be done by anyone with an Owner, Admin, or Manager role within your organization.
